Voxie Pro Recorder App Reviews

This app has been great for my needs. I took the time to figure out the voxiesync feature (which doesnt take any time at all--it was more about effort for me) and was glad I did. Its awesome for syncing larger files. The interface is super user friendly, simple, and convenient. I particularly like that my phone doesnt go to sleep while I record. This makes it so I can start and stop recording effortlessly. I will definitely continue to use it. I think there are only 2 areas they could improve the app for my specific needs: 1. Though the voxiesync sync feature is nice, I would like to be able to just email larger files to my transcriptionist. Files longer than about 30 minutes are too large to compress and email. I dictate lengthy neuropsychological evals that are 90+ minutes long, so I have to start a new file every 20 minutes or so. 2. Rewind and re-record capability. When I make a mistake, I would like to be able to rewind 10-20 seconds and record over the part I messed up. Maybe this is possible and I just cant figure it out. Please let me know if thats the case. Otherwise, this is a fantastic app--especially for the price--and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Just ONE small request from a veteran Voxie user: 1. Update the app for iOS7

I am a long-time user of HT Recorder, but I was intrigued by this apps claims. Problem is, there is nothing new here. HT recorder shares files by bedded web server (which Voxie erroneously refers to as a sync). HT also does Dropbox, which Voxie doesnt do, and HT has different settings depending on how far you are from the speaker (conference room, lecture hall, etc). I found very little to set Voxie apart. I blew my coffee money so you dont have to. Move along--nothing to see here.

Works terribly on my new 6+ It keeps stalling at 5:17 and wont record longer than that If my phone locks it also stops recording Was amazing. Please update or Ill have to delete. I use it all the time for song ideas!

Ive had this app for a couple of years and love it. I do all my recordings with it and it never fails me. It is ease to use and manage, easy to import files and share them. Always improving with useful updates. Best recording app! One request though: PLEASE INCLUDE A SEARCH TOOL! I have a lot of recordings and this would be REALLY helpful! Thanks

I have been user of Voxie Pro ever since iOS 2. It was a solid app then, and it still is now. It has an excellent feature set, with the ability to control audio quality and a variety of ways to transfer audio files. But it desperately needs to be updated. Hopefully someone can take this task on soon.
